About This Project

My Story

Hi, I’m Katherine Salhuana a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Digital Media and Global Communications at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.

I moved from Lima, Peru to Niagara Falls a few months ago, and one of the first things I noticed here was how little I had to think about internet access. Back home, that wasn’t always true some friends in other provinces regularly dealt with slow connections and coverage gaps. That contrast is what shaped how I think about technology now: it only helps people when access and design don’t quietly leave someone out.
